Can plastic windows be harmful to health?

The materials from which our plastic windows are made are wholesome and particularly suitable for use in healthcare facilities and buildings that are permanently occupied by people suffering from allergies. All plastic windows from our offer are made of PVC material, which is environmentally friendly and fully recyclable.

Can plastic windows be in colors other than white?

All plastic windows in our offer can be made in various color versions in addition to white color. Color version is possible in one-sided or double-sided variant. The standard colors are anthracite, walnut, golden oak and mahogany.

Why do rosia windows and how to prevent it?

Deodorizing windows, in other words condensation of water vapor, is caused by two factors: indoor humidity and surface temperature. Another reason for the dew can be the incorrect placement of the radiator under the window. The most effective way to prevent water vapor condensation is proper ventilation and sufficient thermal insulation of the shafts around the windows.

How to properly ventilate?

We should adjust the ventilation of the rooms to the different seasons. In summer, it is recommended to ventilate especially at night when the air temperature is lower than during high heats during the day, either intensively through the open window or by tilting the window. Another way we can use it for summer ventilation is by microventilation, but we recommend using this method only exceptionally, for example. if you are not staying in the house for several days. During winter, a short and intensive ventilation is ideally open through a wide open window. We do not recommend using microventilation in winter, because this type of ventilation can cause moisture condensation on the fittings, window profile or on the lining. In transitional periods, it is possible to effectively ventilate freely, either intensively through the open window, or just by tilting the window during the day or night.

What is Microventilation?

Microventilation is a system that is mounted in hinged and open-hinged windows and is used by turning the handle to a special position, thereby tilting the window to a position that releases the window corner by approx. 8 mm.

What is a dew point?

Dew point is the moment when water vapor changes to water (starts to condense). Thus, the dew point exceedance means the start of condensation, which is influenced by two factors, namely indoor humidity in the room and surface temperature. The surface temperature decreases depending on the room air temperature. Thus, in the case of plastic windows, this phenomenon is manifested by condensation in places where air circulation is limited and the temperature is the lowest (most often on glass and walls around windows). These places are said to be so called. thermal bridges. In order to avoid dew-point overruns, it is necessary to cover these thermal bridges with suitable thermal insulation materials so that the surface temperature does not fall to the dew point. This will be avoided by proper and quality treatment of the windows around the windows, thus eliminating the thermal bridge.
